Beautiful semi-bombe piece, created in Paris France by the jewelry house of Mauboussin, back in the 1970's. This cocktail ring was crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with high polished finish and mounted in the center, with a round cabochon cut (11 x 11 x 8 mm) carved from natural rock quartz, with a weight of 9.5 carats.
Embodied in a trump l'oeil visual effect, with a round brilliant cut diamond of 0.20 carats, E color, VS-1 clarity.
Have a total weight of 10.95 grams and the actual size is 6.5, sizable. The top view measurements are 10 mm by 22 mm.
Stamped, with French hallmarks; the eagle's head for the guaranty and assay of the 18kt gold, the maker's maitre cartouche, the serial numbers and signed, "MAUBOUSSIN PARIS 18 KTS C8221 53".
Very good conditions. Upon Request, Auction House may provide ring resizing or/and appraisal. This will carry an additional cost. Appraisals are made by our in house GIA certified Gemologist.
