Circa 1870 Moroccan koummya dagger with sheath, featuring a forged steel curved double-edge blade mounted in wood, brass, and ornate silver with chiseled and engraved motifs. Handle is richly decorated with silver and wood. Measures 437 x 95 mm. A museum-quality Islamic dagger, reflecting high status and exceptional goldsmith and swordsmith artistry. A rare and important collectible piece.
The overall condition of this dagger is very good. Beside the normal wear, there is no damage to the steel or silver. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
