An impressive bold piece, made in Greece by Ilias Lalaounis at the end of the 1970's. This choker necklace, was meticulously crafted with Greek-Revival patterns in solid yellow Gold of 18 karats. Rubies: Geometrically mounted into bezels, with 8 oval cabochons cut (8 x 5 x 4.5 mm) of natural red rubies, with a combined weight of 15.52 carats. Diamonds: Accented, with 13 gradated round brilliant cut diamonds, 1.15 carats, F/G color, VS-2 clarity. Weight: 100 Grams (64.10 Dwt). Size: Fit a neck up to 15 Inches (38.1 Cm). Measures: The drop element has a measures of 43 mm by 51 mm (1.70 x 2 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped, with the French imports owl mark, the maker's mark A21 associated to Lalaounis, the cartouche Ste IL (Societe Ilias Lalaounis), the company mark, the Gold assay hallmark and signed, "LALAOUNIS GREECE A21 .750".

Very good conditions. Upon Request, Auction House may provide an appraisal. This will carry an additional cost. Appraisals are made by our in house GIA certified Gemologist.
