This statement geometric ring is a vintage piece made in 1973 by the Scandinavian designer Kaunis Koru. It was crafted in solid 14 karats yellow gold, with quite substantial in size and appearance, framing a unique pair of Smokey quartz. Both gemstones are cut with a rectangle shape (21 x 8 x 6mm) and they have a combined weight of about 16 carats, they are transparent, very clear and with great saturation.
Has a total weight of 12.3 grams and the actual size is 6.5, sizeable. The top view measures are 21.5 mm by 22 mm and raise 11 mm over the finger. It is stamped, with the artist maker's mark, the Finnish crown assay control hallmarks, the production year U7 (1973), and signed, "KK .585 U7 VMB"
