This exceptional Art Deco lidded jar by Julien Viard, Paris, circa 1920-1925, features an octagonal shape on round base crafted in frosted glass with embossed floral and bird motifs, eight squared side panels decorated with different birds accented in gold, and fitted round lid, weighing 344.95 grams and measuring 58 x 97 x 97mm (2.30 x 3.82 x 3.82 inches). Signed at base "J. VIARD MADE IN FRANCE"

Condition

The overall condition of this Julien Viard lidded jar is excellent. Besides the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold and all parts are secured in the settings.
