A beautiful piece of wearable art, created in Paris France by the artist and goldsmith Jean Mahie, back in the 1970. This vintage sculptural ring has been crafted in solid rich yellow gold of 22 karats with all the surfaces finished with textured and hammered patterns.
Has a total weight of 21.8 grams and the actual size is 6.25 sizable. The top view measurements are 30 mm by 21 mm (1.18 x 0.83 Inches).
Stamped, with French hallmarks, the eagle's head for the assay of the 22kt gold, the maker's maitre mark Ste JM in a cartouche associated to the Society Jean Mahie and the unique serial numbers 4987.
