A classic pair of Modernist clip-on earrings by Ivan & Co., created in the late 1970s and designed as bold cushion-shaped forms in solid 18K yellow gold with white gold accents for the diamond settings, all finished in a high-polish sheen. The earrings are inlaid with 64 round brilliant-cut diamonds totaling approximately 3.20 carats (F color, VS clarity), and centered with two bezel-set round cabochon natural turquoise carvings measuring 15mm (approx. 20 carats total) for striking color contrast. Fitted with comfortable hinged French omega backs for secure clip wear (posts for pierced ears can be added if desired), the pair weighs 31.95 grams and measures 30 x 30mm. Both are stamped and signed “IVAN & CO .750 18 kt,” accompanied by a presentation jewelry box, and remain in excellent condition with all 66 gemstones secure. Very good conditions.
