Fabulous desk-table clock, created in Switzerland by the clocks makers house of Imhof, back in the 1950. This clock is very rare and has been crafted with retro modernist zodiacs patterns in solid gilded bronze. Mount in a round pedestal base with a round beveled transparent bluish glass.
Dial: Original round in transparent glass with mirrored center, analog with round concave batons, twelve zodiac figures and baroque shaped hands in gilt steel.
Movement: Manual winding, 8 days, 15 jewels, Lever escapement. Weight: 1.247.4 Grams, (2.75 Pounds). Measurements: 247.6 by 232.4 mm by 110.49 mm (9.75 x 9.15 x 4.35 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark and signed, "IMHOF SWISS 15 RUBIES 470298".
The overall condition of this clock is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to any parts. The zodiacal pieces are secured in the settings.
