This is an extremely rare collectors piece, created in Paris France by the luxury house of Gucci, back in the 1968. This unusual buckle wrist watch was carefully crafted with parts carved in natural Macassar ebony wood and embellished with elements made up of solid yellow gold of 18 karats inlaid in the wood. This piece is exceptionally rare and never seen before. It is normal that it has light wear and small imperfections due to its use. The movement is manual, the dial is gold with roman numbers and black hands, cushion shape glass and the crown bezel is set with a round cabochon blue sapphire. Weight: 51.4 Grams, (32.95 Dwt). Hallmarks: The gold parts are stamped with French marks, the eagle head for the assay and warranty of the 18kt gold, the maker's mark Ste. G. (French Societe Gucci), the six-digits serial numbers and signed in full as follow, "GUCCI ITALY .750 BREVETTATO 31 18KT Ste G. FI195 PHC105". The overall condition of this Gucci wristwatch is very good. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the gold. The wood parts are secured in their settings.
