These are a very rare vintage pair of earrings created in Firenze Italy by the fashion luxury house of Gucci, back in the 1970. The clips-on earrings were designed as a left and right with hipic-horse-whip related patterns in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish.
Diamonds: Mounted in inlaid settings, with 56 round brilliant cut diamonds, with a weight of about 1.68 carats, white colorless F color, VS clarity.
Weight: 15.3 Grams, (9.85 Dwt). Measurements: 28 mm by 17 mm (1.10 x 0.67 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with Italian marks; the maker's mark, the mark for the assay and warranty of the 18kt gold and signed in full as follows, "GUCCI ITALY 18KT .750 LR".
Very good conditions. All our diamonds and colored gemstones are naturally earth-mined. Any synthetic (lab-grown) stones will be clearly indicated in the description. Upon Request, Auction House may provide an appraisal. This will carry an additional cost. Appraisals are made by our in house GIA certified Gemologist.
