Beautiful and elegant piece, created in Zurich Switzerland by the famous jewelry house of Gubelin, circa 1950. This stunning one of a kind rare brooch has been crafted in solid .950/.999 platinum with high polished finish and suited at the reverse with an integrated hinged double stick pins bars to wear.
It is mount with a great selection of natural earth mined diamonds, all calibrated with a combined weight of 6.42 carats, white colorless E/F color, VS-1 clarity, described as follow;
Channel set with 31 straight step cut baguette and French squared carre, 1.86 carats.
Prong set with 11 round brilliant cut, 1.32 carats
Flat set with 72 European cut, 3.24 carats
Has a total weight of 21.3 Grams and a measurements of 52 mm by 38 mm (2.05 x 1.51 Inches).
Stamped with the maker's mark, the hallmark for the assay of the platinum, the serial numbers and signed in full, "GUBELIN PT.950 382046".
