Very rare sculptural cocktail ring by Gilbert Albert, Geneva, circa 1960–1970, a unique Modernist work crafted in solid 18K yellow gold with organic, textured freeform patterns and polished highlights. Set with nine natural gemstones: a vivid green rectangular faceted tourmaline in four-prong setting (11 x 9 x 5.5mm; approx. 5.18 ct, formula), three round brilliant diamonds (approx. 0.27 ctw, F color, VS clarity), and five natural 3mm pearls in varied colors. Designed to cling to the finger with an asymmetrical, “grown” silhouette. Weight 13.40g; size 7.75 (sizable); measures 23 x 20mm and rises 15mm. Swiss hallmarked and signed “GILBERT ALBERT .750 GA” with maker’s mark “GA.”
