A very rare sculptural ring by Gilbert Albert, the iconic Modernist designer, created in Geneva, Switzerland circa 1968–1972 for the Swiss luxury house of Bucherer. This organic free-form jewel is crafted in patinated solid 18K yellow gold with richly textured surfaces, embodying the brutalist aesthetic through its free and disorderly shapes that cling to the finger as if a natural extension of the hand. The design exemplifies Albert's revolutionary approach to jewelry as wearable sculpture. The ring weighs 10.90 grams, is currently size 5.75 (sizable upon request), measures 22 x 17mm, and rises 7mm off the finger. Stamped with Swiss hallmarks including the Gilbert Albert "GA" maker's mark and signed "GILBERT ALBERT-BUCHERER .750."
