A beautiful antique neoclassical box, created in Germany back in the 1920. This gorgeous piece has been crafted with mythological scenes in the art deco manner in solid sterling silver of .925/.999. The main piece is raised by four decorated sabbots that are holding the glass part and the rectangular lid.
The mythological scenes in this box are very beautiful. In the center are two nymphs dressed in robes, kneeling in front of an altar with flames. At both ends, two nymphs dressed in classical Greek clothing, walking and holding bunches of grapes. All borders up and down with open works geometric patterns.
Weight: Without the glass part is 674.75 Grams, (432.53 Dwt).
Measurements: 171 mm by 144 mm by 112 mm (6.75 x 5.68 x 4.40 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the serial numbers, (Quarter Moon Symbol .925 No. 8810 2 60).
