This is a very rare pair of geometric clips-on earrings, created in Paris France by Georges L'Enfant during the modernism period, back in the 1970. These sculptural woven earrings were masterfully crafted for the jewelry house of Gubelin in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with polished and textured patterns.
Maker: Workshop of Georges L'Enfant for Gubelin. Weight: 18.60 grams (11.92 Dwt). Measurements: 20 mm by 20 mm (0.79 x 0.79 Inches).
Hallmarks: They are both stamped with French and Swiss control marks; the maker's mark associated to the workshop of Georges L'Enfant, the monogram mark of Gubelin, the mark for the assay of the gold, the six-digits serial numbers and signed as follow, "GUBELIN .750 373769 GL 18KT".
