This exceptional modernist bangle by Gay Freres, Paris, circa 1970, features a carved wood body with 18K yellow gold ram's head in highly textured finish, embellished with two natural green emeralds (round cabochon, approximately 0.40 carats combined) set as the ram's eyes, fitted with discrete hinged pin and concealed security clasp, weighing 62.50 grams (40.10 dwt.) and measuring 42 x 90mm (1.65 x 3.50 inches), fits wrist up to 7.85 inches (20cm). Stamped with French eagle head assay mark and "G. FRERES FRANCE .750 18KT"
