Garrard & Co. three-strand pearl necklace, London, circa 1960s, crafted in solid 18K white gold with a high-polish, fully hand-made diamond-and-ruby clasp/mount. Centered with a GIA-certified unheated Burmese “pigeon blood” ruby (oval brilliant step cut, 8.20 x 6.26 x 3.56mm; 1.32 ct, dismounted and weighed) and lavishly set with mixed-cut diamonds: 26 marquise (approx. 4.16 ctw), 6 round brilliants (approx. 1.38 ctw), and 8 baguettes (approx. 0.56 ctw), all F/G color, VS2 clarity. Strung with 162 graduated white pearls (6.5–8.5mm). Weight 91.53g; length 16.85" (42.80cm); clasp section 48 x 24mm. Signed and hallmarked “G&CO. .750 ES”.
