Exceptional late Art Deco clip-on earrings, Paris, circa 1940, designed as a left/right pair of platinum leaf forms. Crafted in solid .900 platinum and set with 24 graduated European-cut round diamonds in pavé centers totaling approx. 1.56 ctw (F color, VS clarity). Fitted with concealed comfortable French omega backs in 18K white gold; posts can be added for pierced wear. Weight 13.95 grams; measures 33 x 15mm. French hallmarks including eagle’s head (18K backs), “dog” for platinum, and maker’s lozenge mark. Very good conditions. All our diamonds and colored gemstones are naturally earth-mined.
