Antique French butterfly brooch with versatile screw-back mechanism allowing conversion to a pendant, expertly crafted in 18kt yellow and white gold with intricate milgrain detailing. Accented by fifteen rose-cut diamonds totaling approximately 2.00 carats, this piece is stamped with the French eagle’s head on both the brooch and pin, measures 1.50 x 2.00 inches, and weighs 15.7 grams—offering a unique blend of artistry, versatility, and historic French craftsmanship.
Good conditions. All our diamonds and colored gemstones are naturally earth-mined. Any synthetic (lab-grown) stones will be clearly indicated in the description. Upon Request, Auction House may provide an appraisal. This will carry an additional cost. Appraisals are made by our in house GIA certified Gemologist.
