An attractive and very beautiful desk piece, created in France during the art deco period, back in the 1930's. This rare mechanical cigarettes dispenser box has been made in the shape of an iconic Parisian newspapers kiosk with 25 spaces to fit cigarettes in the interior.
It was carefully crafted in solid brass and embellished around with several paper advertisements from the period. You need to lift the tower cupule to reveal the holders for the cigarettes. It is mount in a round brass base attached to the kiosk with several screws.
Weight: 441.50 Grams, (1.97 Pounds).
Measurements: Open is 98 mm by 85 mm x 311 mm (3.85 x 3.85 x 12.25 Inches). Close is 98 mm by 98 mm x 241 mm (3.85 x 3.85 x 9.5 Inches).
The overall condition of this piece is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to any part. All pieces are secured in the settings. This piece has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
