A fabulous and rare master-piece of jewelry, made in France during the Georgian period (1714-1830), circa late 18th early 19th centuries. This gorgeous colorful pendant has been carefully crafted with impeccable attention to details in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with a thin layer of silver on top for the settings of the diamonds.
The entire piece is mounted with 55 Old Rose cut diamonds, with a combined weight of 2.25 carats approximate and a pear cabochon cut (5.2 x 12 x 4.5 mm) of a natural Russian purple Amethyst of about 2.01 carats.
Has a total weight of 28.3 Grams and a measures of 32 mm by 72 mm (1.26 x 2.83 Inches).
