This exceptional pair of clip-on earrings, crafted in Paris, France by Fred Joaillier in the late 1980s, features a stunning design in 18 karat yellow gold with a high-polish finish. The earrings are adorned with 28 round brilliant-cut diamonds (0.48 carats, E/F color, VS-1 clarity) in a French pavé setting and 2 pear-shaped cabochon Colombian emeralds (1.64 carats total, 7 x 5 x 4 mm) in prong settings. Fitted with hinged French omega backs, they are easily adaptable for pierced ears. Weighing 13.5 grams, the earrings measure 20 mm by 10 mm by 15 mm and are hallmarked with French assay marks, the maker's mark "Ste. FV," and signed "FRED OR .750 FRANCE".
