A fantastic and highly sculptured bracelet cuff from the bestiary collection, created by the famed Italian jeweler and designer, Pierino Frascarolo. This impressive and intricate flexible bracelet depict the whimsical figure of a roaring Tiger.
This rare piece was crafted during the Mid-Century period, around the 1960's in solid yellow Gold of 18karats, with accents in white Gold for the Diamonds settings. Is suited with three sections of hinges and a double push clasp lock with a slash for extra security,
The entire body is decorated, with applications of blue, red and white hot enamels.
The tiger claws and the face are mounted, with a pave setting of 32 European round brilliant cuts Diamonds, 1.62 carats, G color, VS-2/SI-1 clarity. The eyes are accented with a pair of round brilliants cuts of natural red Burmese rubies (0.12 Ctw).
It is pretty heavy, with a total weight of 129.6 grams and fit a wrist up to 6.30 inches (16 Cm). The widest point measure is 35 mm (1.30 Inches).
Stamped in a plaque under the head, with the Italian hallmarks; the maker's mark for Frascarolo. the assay hallmarks and signed, "MODELE DEPOSE F.C. MADE IN ITALY .750 18kT *347AL".
