Italian mid-century period, circa 1960. This bold oversized cocktail ring has been crafted in solid 18 karats yellow gold with texturized surfaces and white gold accents for the settings of the diamonds
Embellished on top with a bezel that hold an oval sugar loaf cabochon cut (15.5 x 13 x 10 mm) of a natural vivid blue lapis lazuli of 16.87 carats.
The body of the ring is set with 38 calibrated round brilliants cuts diamonds, 2.66 carats, E/F color, VS-2 clarity.
It is pretty heavy and oversized, with a substantial weight of 29.7 Grams. The actual size is 7, sizeable. The top view measures are 28 mm by 26 mm (1.12 x 1.02 Inches) and raise 22 mm over the finger.
Signed by the designer and stamped with Italian assay hallmarks, "FARRAD 18 Kt Italy".
