Magnificent and substantial pendant-brooch, created in London by the British jewelry designer Elizabeth Gage, back in the 1993. This rare and beautiful piece has been crafted as a one of a kind piece in solid rich yellow Gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. Designed with geometric motifs and embellished in the center with a great lion's head carved in a single piece of vivid orange citrine. Decorated with a guilloche linear patterns which are topped with applications of translucent orange color enamel. Citrine: Mounted in a screw setting, with 1 piece of natural orange citrine carved in the shape of a lion's head, roaring. Onyxes: Mounted in inlaid settings, with 6 round flat cabochon cut carved from natural black onyx. Weight: 49.60 grams (31.79 Dwt.). Measures: 66 mm by 51 mm (2.60 by 2.01 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with British marks; the mark of the lion for the city of London, the letter T for the production year of 1993, the mark for the Gold assay and signed in full, "©GAGE .750 T.
