Gorgeous pair of vintage earrings, created in London by the British jewelry designer Elizabeth Gage, back in the 1989. These rare clip-on earrings has been carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. Designed with geometric Egyptians motifs and embellished with a pair of carved scarabs and applications of red enamel over a foiled guilloche surface. Jade: Mounted in the center in bezel settings, with 2 oval cabochon cut (15 x 12 x 8 mm) pieces of natural dark green jade, carved in the shape of Egyptians scarabs. They have an approximate weight of 19.0 carats. Weight: 49.2 grams (35.54 Dwt.). Measures: 36 mm by 31 mm (1.41 by 1.22 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with British marks; the mark of the lion for the city of London, the maker's mark EG associated to Elizabeth Gage, the letter P for the production year of 1989, the mark for the gold assay and signed in full, "©GAGE .750 P. EG SGDG".
