A beautiful late Edwardian convertible pendant-brooch from circa 1910, expertly crafted in solid platinum and finished with refined millegrain edges and settings that highlight the period’s exceptional workmanship. Designed for versatility, it is fitted on the reverse with a hinged pin bar and mechanical lock for horizontal brooch wear, plus a removable screw fitting to convert for vertical pendant use. The piece is set with 24 calibre French faceted baguette-cut blue sapphires in channel settings totaling approximately 1.20 carats, and 45 European round-cut diamonds in French pavé totaling approximately 1.15 carats (F color, VS2 clarity). It weighs 10.95 g (7.01 dwt) and measures 48 x 26 mm (1.89 x 1.02 in). Tested as .900 platinum. Very good conditions. All our diamonds and colored gemstones are naturally earth-mined.
