Rare Belle Époque/Edwardian bow brooch, circa 1905, delicately crafted in solid .900 platinum and fitted with a hinged horizontal pin bar and mechanical lock. Set with a central Old European-cut diamond in a millegrain bezel (1.15 ct, K color, VS2) and further accented with 26 old European and single-cut diamonds in French flush settings totaling approx. 2.05 ctw (F/H/I color, VS/SI), all finished with crisp millegrain detail. Weight 9.3g; measures 35 x 32mm. Unmarked; tested as .900 platinum.
Very good conditions. All our diamonds and colored gemstones are naturally earth-mined. Any synthetic (lab-grown) stones will be clearly indicated in the description. Upon Request, Auction House may provide an appraisal. This will carry an additional cost. Appraisals are made by our in house GIA certified Gemologist.
