This is a very interesting mechanical case, created in Birmingham England during the art deco period at the silversmith workshop of Deykin & Harrison, back in the late 1930. The cigarettes case has been crafted in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with polished finishes and embellished with engine turned decorations. Weight: 45.8 Grams, (29.40 Dwt). Measurements: 77 mm by 65 mm by 20 mm (3.02 x 2.55 x 0.79 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with British marks; the anchor mark for the city of Birmingham, the maker's mark D&H associated to Deykin & Harrison, the mark for the assay and warranty of the .925/.999 silver and the letter F for the productions' year of 1930. The overall condition of this cigarettes case by Deykin & Harrison is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the sterling. All parts are secured in the settings. This box has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
