Modernist David Webb statement ring, New York, circa 1980, crafted in 18K yellow gold and .950 platinum with black enamel accents. Centered with a dramatic fluted oval cabochon rubellite tourmaline in bezel (24 x 20 x 14mm; approx. 55.20 ct by formula) and set with 48 round brilliant diamonds in pavé totaling approx. 4.32 ctw (E/F color, VVS clarity) for exceptional brilliance. Weight 46.6 grams; size 6.5 (resizable) with an internal spring sizer adjuster for smaller fit. Measures 30 x 26mm and rises 20mm. Signed “©DAVID WEBB 18KT .950 PLAT 68465”.
Very good conditions. All our diamonds and colored gemstones are naturally earth-mined. Any synthetic (lab-grown) stones will be clearly indicated in the description. Upon Request, Auction House may provide Ring resizing or/and appraisal. This will carry an additional cost. Appraisals are made by our in house GIA certified Gemologist.
