Beautiful early chinoiserie pieces made between the 1950's and the 1960's by David Webb. This handsome pair surely is a very early one and unique piece. It was crafted in 18karat yellow Gold and suited with comfortable omega backs for fastening clips.
The focus main elements are the finely carved natural gemstones, such; a pair of blue turquoise spheres (14 mm), a pair of carved corals Shou spheres (14 mm) and two free form briolette of vivid green jadeite jade (8 x 12 x 20 mm).
All gemstones are natural, untreated and have an approximate total weight of 70 carats.
Accented with 4 spacers, mounted with 48 round brilliant cut Diamonds, 0.78 Ctw, F/G color, VS-2 clarity.
This pair have a total weight of 28.3 grams and a drop measure of 65 mm (2.56 inches).
Signed and s tamped with the Gold assay hallmarks, "WEBB 18kT".
