Rare early Columbus Model A 1-cent countertop candy/gumball vending machine, made in Columbus, Ohio (USA) circa 1935, with late Art Deco / Machine Age industrial design. Solid cast iron body with embossed clear glass globe, aluminum and chromed steel details, retaining the original red/black maker’s decal and signed “COLUMBUS MODEL A.” Globe is perfect—no chips or cracks. Fully restored to original specs, cleaned/polished, and fully functioning on a penny, complete with key. Approx. 8 pounds; 420 x 232 x 232 mm (16.5 x 9.1 x 9.1 inches). The overall condition of this Columbus Model-A counter vendor machine is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage and all parts are secured in the settings. This piece was carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
