Gorgeous vintage earrings, created in Montpellier France by the artists and goldsmiths Francoise and Claude Chavent, back in the 1980. This sculptural oval pair has been crafted with geometric patterns in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with an 18 karats yellow gold vermeil. The surfaces are finished with delicate brushes in different directions that create a great Trompe L'oeil three-dimensional visual effect.
Weight: 4.45 Grams, (2.85 Dwt). Measurements: 25.4 mm by 24 mm (1.0 x 0.95 Inches).
Hallmarks: Is stamped with French marks; the helmeted head of Minerva for the assay and warranty of the silver, the maker's mark CC associated to Claude Chavent inside a lozange cartouche and signed, "CHAVENT .925".
