Beautiful late mid-century convertible pendant-brooch, Italy, circa 1960s, crafted in solid 18K yellow gold with highly textured finish. Designed as a Maltese cross, set with 12 bezel-set round brilliant diamonds (1.32 ct, F/G color, VS2 clarity). Centered by a large round bullet cabochon natural Afghani blue lapis lazuli (20.41 ct). Measures 48 x 48 x 30 mm (1.89 x 1.89 x 1.18 in), weighing 51.5 grams. Stamped with maker’s and gold assay marks “18KT.” Very good conditions.
