A beautiful three dimensional piece, created in Italy during the late mid-century period, back in the 1960's. This convertible pendant brooch have been crafted in the shape of a Maltese cross in solid yellow Gold of 18 karats with highly textured finish. Fitted with an open hook to wear in a chain or necklace and a hinged horizontal pin bar to wear as a brooch. Diamonds: Bezel set with 12 round brilliant cut diamonds with a combined weight of 1.32 Carats, white colorless F/G color, VS-2 Clarity. Gemstones: Mount in the middle, raising with a round bullet cabochon cut (15 x 15 x 12 mm) of a natural Afghani blue lapis lazuli of 20.41 carats. Weight: 51.5 Grams, (33.01 Dwt). Measurements: 48 mm by 48 mm by 30 mm (1.89 x 1.89 x 1.18 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark and the Gold assay mark, "18KT".
