Fabulous statement necklace, created in Paris France by the jewelry house of Cartier, back in the 1970's. This gorgeous necklace, is the model named Madison and has been crafted at the atelier of George L'Enfant in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. The design is composed by a graduated links collar and a heart shaped element in the center, which one is embellished with natural diamonds. It is fitted with a push boxed lock and a security slash for extra safety.
Diamonds: Mounted around in two sections, with 24 graduated round brilliant cut diamonds, 1.92 carats, white colorless D/E color, VVS-1 clarity.
Canary Diamonds: The central panel is mounted in a pave setting, with 25 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, 2.25 carats, fancy canary yellow color, VVS-1 clarity
Birthstone: Diamonds for the month of April.
Weight: 69.25 Grams, (44.39 Dwt).
Size: The inside circumference is 15.25 Inches (38.75 Cm).
Measurements: The chain is graduated from 7 mm to 14 mm (0.28 to 0.55 Inches). The central element is 20 mm by 23 mm.
Hallmarks: Stamped with French marks; the head of the eagle for the assay and warranty of the gold, the serial numbers, the maker's maitre GL associated to George L'Enfant inside a lozange cartouche and signed, "CARTIER PARIS .750 227516".
