This is a magnificent art deco ring, created in Paris France and designed by the jewelry house of Cartier. This colorful cocktail ring is very rare and highly collectable and was produced in a very limited special edition. The ring was carefully crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish and decorated with geometric patterns accented with applications of purple and black glass enamel.
Country: Paris, France.Period: Art Deco, 1925. Diamonds: Mount in a pave setting, with 24 calibrated round brilliant cut diamonds, with a total weight of about 0.24 carats, white colorless D/E color, VS-1 clarity.
Amethyst: Mount on top in a bezel setting, with 1 octagonal sugarloaf cabochon cut (15 x 10 x 5 mm) of a natural vivid purple amethyst of about 6.45 carats.
Others: Mounted at the sides in bezel settings, with 2 round bullet cabochon cuts of amethyst and 2 cylinders cuts carved from black jade.
Weight: 13.95 Grams, (8.95 Dwt). Size: 7 and may be easily sized up or down on special request. French size 55. Measurements: 33 mm by 26 mm (1.30 x 1.02 Inches) and raise 12 mm over the finger.
Hallmarks: Stamped with French control marks; the mark of the eagle's head for the assay and warranty of the 18kt yellow gold, the maker's mark Ste PB inside a lozenge cartouche associated to Cartier, the six-digits serial numbers, the French size and signed in full as follow, "CARTIER PARIS 55 D10722 .750".

Very good conditions. Upon Request, Auction House may provide ring resizing or/and appraisal. This will carry an additional cost. Appraisals are made by our in house GIA certified Gemologist.
