Rare vintage Cartier station necklace, Paris, circa 1935–1940, crafted in solid .900 platinum with a high-polish finish and platinum bezels. Designed with a clustered station drop set with 38 natural gemstones: 22 bar-screw set rounded cabochon sapphire beads totaling approx. 5.50 ctw (natural, unheated/untreated; intense vivid blue) and 16 inlaid bezel-set European-cut diamonds totaling approx. 0.16 ctw (E/F color, VS clarity). In pristine condition and finished with a spring-ring security clasp. Weight 7.6 grams; length 17 in; station measures 13 x 13 x 10mm. Signed “CARTIER”.
