A rare and unusual Cartier piece, made in Paris, circa1940's. This brooch shows an flying eagle in attack position. This piece is completely made in highly textured solid yellow gold of 18 karats.
Is presented in a Cartier designer's new jewelry box.
Suited at the reverse, with a hinged horizontal pin bar with a trombone lock and a hinged slash for extra security.
The total weight of this piece is 25.2 grams and have a measures of 89 mm (3.5 inches) by 55 mm (2.16 inches).
Is stamped with French hallmarks; two times with the eagle's head for the assay and guaranty of the 18 kt gold, two times with the Cartier maker's maitre cartouche and signed in full, "CARTIER PARIS".
