A rare and colorful Cartier Art Deco jabot brooch from the 1930s, expertly crafted in two parts in 18k yellow and white gold with a high-polished finish and refined period detailing. Elegant millegrain settings and crisp black enamel accents frame a striking gemstone combination, while the classic jabot form delivers strong graphic impact and superb versatility on lapels, scarves, or necklines. Set throughout are 4 European rose-cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.30 carats (F color, VS2 clarity), paired with two natural turquoise cabochons measuring 13 x 16.5 x 6.5 mm with a combined weight of approximately 17.54 carats, bezel-set for a clean, saturated pop of color. The brooch is fitted with a pin bar and a push-and-screw security lock for confident wear. Measures 80 x 16 mm (3.15 x 0.63 in) and weighs 8.95 g (5.38 dwt); stamped with maker’s mark, gold assay marks, serial numbers, and signed “CARTIER 23188.01.” Very good conditions.
