A beautiful long Burberry belt-collar from the 1960s modernist era, masterfully crafted in solid .925 sterling silver with a high-polished finish. The design features bold geometric linkwork enriched with cloisonné enamel patterns and is accented by 16 vivid red garnet cabochons, bezel-set for a clean, graphic look. It secures with a concealed sliding security lock, making it both striking and wearable as a statement collar or belt. The garnets are 16 round cabochon cuts (10 mm) with an estimated total weight of approximately 48 carats. The piece weighs 187.75 g (120.35 dwt), measures 32 in (81.3 cm) in length, and each round link is 26 mm (1.02 in). Stamped with maker’s mark and sterling assay marks, and signed “SML & CO. STERLING.” Accompanied by a presentation jewelry box and in excellent condition, showing only light normal wear, with no damage to the silver and all components secure, and the piece carefully inspected to confirm condition and authenticity.
