Classic pendant by Mario Buccellati, hand-crafted in 18K yellow gold with the house’s signature brushed/Florentine-style texturing, set with a massive natural rhodochrosite. Rhodochrosite: 1 freeform cabochon bezel-set, approx. 65 cts (earth-mined). The reverse is finely worked with a Renaissance-inspired figural scene of a bird-faced musician playing a mandolin, and the pendant is finished with a jump ring for wear on a chain or charm bracelet. Weight 27.90 g (17.90 dwt). Measures 61 x 26 x 8 mm (2.40 x 1.02 x 0.31 in). Hallmarks: Italian marks and signed “BUCCELLATI ITALY .750.” Very good conditions.
