A fascinating timepiece from Breguet's Classique line from 2007. The Tourbillon Messidor 5335Pt 42 9W6 highlights Breguet's innovative instincts with its uncluttered tourbillon design on a finely detailed and meticulously finished skeletonized dial. This watch pays tribute to the brand's tourbillon invention which was patented on 7 Messidor Year IX (June 26, 1801). The watch features a 40mm platinum case with off-centered hours and minutes and blued Breguet hands set on the upper half of the dial while at the lower half is the rose gold tourbillon cage with its separate sapphire crystal. The watch is driven by Caliber 558 SQ2, a handwound movement with 201 components, 25 jewels, and 50 hours of power reserve. The watch is outfitted with a leather strap.
