Very beautiful pair, created by Angela Cummings at her studio in New York, back, back in the early 1980's. These very modernist round clips earrings has been crafted in solid yellow gold of 18 karats, with high polish finish and suited, with comfortable French omega backs for fastening clips. The entire surface is embellished with multiples inlaid of circular elements carved from natural gemstones. These free-shaped geometric figures have a reminiscence to the art-pieces from the German-French sculptor Jean Arp.
Gemstones: Embellished with an inlaid of graduated pattern of circular elements carved from black jade. Others: Embellished with an inlaid of graduated pattern of circular elements carved from black pyrite. Weight: 16.95 Grams, (10.87 Dwt). Measurements: Diameter of 25 mm (1 Inch). Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the assay mark for the warranty of the gold and signed, "ANGELA CUMMINGS .750".
