A beautiful and unusual pair of oval Modernist clip-on earrings by Angela Cummings, created in 1988 for her New York gallery and crafted in solid 18K yellow gold with an elegant contrast of brushed and polished finishes. Each earring is bezel-set with a vivid blue natural lapis lazuli oval cabochon measuring 16 x 12 x 4mm (approx. 14 carats total), offering rich color and strong, sculptural presence. Fitted with posts for pierced wear and comfortable hinged omega backs for secure clip fastening, the earrings weigh 25.30 grams and measure 26 x 20 x 6mm. Both are stamped and signed “©1988 CUMMINGS 18KT.” Very good conditions. All our diamonds and colored gemstones are naturally earth-mined.
