A very rare pair of modernist clip-on earrings by Angela Cummings, New York 1985—sculpted in high-polished 18K yellow gold with distinctive pear bombe forms. Each showcases a vivid red rubellite (pear-faceted, approx. 1.89 carats per earring) surrounded by 44 inlaid black jade cabochons (approx. 11 carats per earring), creating striking chromatic contrast and sculptural depth. Fitted with comfortable hinged French omega backs; gold posts for pierced ears easily added. Hallmarked "©ANGELA CUMMINGS .750". 26 x 22 x 10 mm. Weight: 20.95 grams.
