A beautiful and very rare pair of Angela Cummings earrings, created in New York (1984) and crafted as bold vintage squares with crisp geometric presence. Made in solid 18k yellow gold with a high-polished finish, they’re fitted with French omega backs for secure clip wear (with posts easily added for pierced ears). The face is beautifully inlaid with 32 wavy squared elements carved from natural black jade and white nacre, forming a striking checkerboard-style pattern with strong modernist appeal. The pair weighs 22.95 g (14.7 dwt) and measures 23 x 23 mm (0.91 x 0.91 in). Both are stamped on the reverse with maker’s mark and gold assay mark, dated, and signed “ANGELA CUMMINGS 1984 18KT.”
