A beautiful pair of Angela Cummings clip-on earrings, created in New York City (early 1980s) and designed in elegant modernist free-form shapes. Crafted in solid 18k yellow gold with a high-polished finish, they’re embellished with four carved natural white nacre elements that add a soft, luminous contrast to the warm gold. Fitted with comfortable hinged omega backs for secure clip wear (with posts easily added for pierced ears), the pair weighs 20.95 g (13.45 dwt) and measures 35 x 18 x 6 mm (1.38 x 0.71 x 0.24 in). Both earrings are stamped with maker’s mark and 18k assay/warranty marks, and signed “©ANGELA CUMMINGS .750.”
