Bold modernist jewel by Andrew Grima, London, dated 1963, crafted in solid 18K yellow gold and hallmarked with British London assay marks (HJCo maker’s mark; date letter h). Set with 7 round brilliant diamonds in four prongs totaling approx. 0.70 ctw (F color, VS clarity) and 9 graduated oval/round cabochon vivid blue turquoises in four prongs totaling approx. 7.00 ctw, creating a striking sculptural, post-war statement. Weight 58.95 grams; measures 60 x 67 x 18mm. Signed “ANDREW GRIMA HJCo. 18KT h”.

Condition

Very good conditions. All our diamonds and colored gemstones are naturally earth-mined. Any synthetic (lab-grown) stones will be clearly indicated in the description. Upon Request, Auction House may provide an appraisal. This will carry an additional cost. Appraisals are made by our in house GIA certified Gemologist.
