A beautiful French ring created in Paris (circa 1960s) at the Vassort atelier, crafted in solid 18k yellow gold with a high-polished finish. The design is richly composed with an almond fluted salmon coral carving and a bold free-form black onyx stripe, then elegantly framed by two curved diamond lines set with a refined French pavé of 48 round brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 1.01 carats (F/G color, VS2 clarity). The ring weighs 18.6 g, is size 6 (sizeable), and measures 31 x 21 mm (1.22 x 0.83 in) from the top view. Stamped with French hallmarks including the eagle’s head for 18k gold and the maker’s maître cartouche AV associated with André Vassort. Notably, this model was also produced by Vassort for houses including Boucheron and Van Cleef & Arpels. In perfect condition with outstanding presence. Very good conditions.
